Design Approach
I approached this project by researching the state of the current fast fashion industry. I decided that I wanted to approach the issue by empowering consumers to spend less on new clothing and focus more on mending what they currently had in their own closets. This project took place over the course of two semesters. The first semester was spent researching and planning the screenprint, embroidery, and bookmaking aspects of the project. The second semester was spent making the and planning for the exhibition.
